Hi Melanie,
Thank you for leaving feedback, we really appreciate it. If you are feeding a fussier horse we always recommend introducing the product to the diet very gradually starting with just a small amount and building this up to the full maintenance dose over a period of several days. You may also find it useful to split the daily dose between multiple meals instead of feeding all at once. If not already doing so we also recommend dampening the feed down as this will make it easier for the herbs to be mixed in.
Our palatability sample which you have ordered is a one-day supply hence why it is such a small amount. This minimises product waste as well as cutting out the use of unnecessary packaging when posting. If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to get in touch and a member of the team will be more than happy to help.
“Not sure yet! The sample pack and the starter pack do not appear to be the same.
Sample was leaf and seeds, started pack is all leaves and little else?
Why is this?
However he is eating it, so that a plus!
My 25 yr old TB was in good body condition anyway, thanks to Blue Chip Balancer, Micronised Linseed, Boswellia powder which has been added to his am. feed since end of September.
Now adding Golden Oldies to his pm. feed.”
Hi Janet, the Golden Oldies looks a little different as we had to source bilberry leaves from a different supplier and the cut is quite different. That ingredient isn't quite as dense and the 'fluffiness' of the leaves is making them bulkier and they take up much more room. There is the same amount of each ingredient by weight in the box though. :)
It can take a bit of time with Golden Oldies to see your horse really start to thrive on it, so hopefully, you'll start to see results soon. In the meantime, if we can help with anything, just let us know on enquiries@equinutritive.com
“We bought golden oldies for our 21 year old cob,who isn't ridden any more, and began to look poor, mainly because he has cushins. Since giving him this supplement over the past 2weeks there has been a visible improvement. We are very pleased with the outcome so far.”
