Hello Dave, thanks for reaching out. If you follow the supplied care instructions any marks will buff out with some brasso polish - you can be quite liberal with it as it won't harm the paint.
We recommend a light coat of olive oil afterwards to give some protection. As I say have a scan over the care instructions but if you need any further help please let me know.
