“We had a fabulous cruise on River Severn, with excellent company and efficient and friendly crewe. The meals were delicious and nothing was too much trouble. Our one criticism has to be the size of the cabins. They were much smaller than we have ever experienced before, with little hanging or drawer space for 2 persons taking a range of clothing suitable for English weather! The toilet/shower room again was minute and very basic.
That apart, we enjoyed every minute of our holiday. Thanks to all”

“This is the second year we have sailed along the River Severn with 'English Holiday Cruises' both were lovely relaxing 6 day cruises. Last year we did the "Discovery Cruise" and this year we did the "Classic Cruise". I thing I prefered the "Discovery Cruise", but both are good. Both times with did the 'Plus Package' which gave us a night at a hotel and spa before the cruise. The food onboard is very good, the crew were very efficient and friendly. So I can recommend sailing with 'English Holiday Cruises' and the 'Plus Package'.”

“Really enjoyable/relaxing week on board, the fine weather helped but the crew were very friendly and places visited were new to us so interesting. Would recommed visiting Sudeley Castle on the steam train day trip ( a short uber from the station or 30 min walk)”

“This was a really enjoyable experience. A widow, I was the only person going solo but everyone was very friendly and great company. The boat was in splendid condition, the crew were terrifically informative and helpful, the meals were all delicious, the scenic views were beautiful and the outings were very nice. The inclusion of the coach trip to the Worcester/Gloucester Steam Railway via which we could go to Winchcombe or Broadway, was a bonus. I went in 2022 on the Cruise the the Views trip and one of the improvements I found this time was the facility of the excellent Boathouse where we could assemble, be fed, and park our cars securely. I shall certainly book again in due course on a slightly different cruise with you.”

The cabin we had was clean and comfortable, and the lounge and dining area was really well furnished. We were extremely well fed, and the bar was well stocked. Maps and full information accompanied any trips.
We recommend it highly and will no doubt do a repeat trip on the Edward Elgar. Well done everyone.”
