The Empire double sliding door back bar chiller in Black with LED Lighting is perfect for keeping your best sellers chilled and ready at your disposal. With two large, clear doors, this multipurpose beer fridge comes with a range of useful features, including an integral temperature controller and auto defrost.Fan direct cooling means the temperature is kept within a consistent range of 0 to 10c and the electronic temperature control with digital display keeps you informed of this information throughout operation.Behind the self closing, sliding doors are four adjustable shelves (two for each door) illuminated by the interior horizontal LED light. The doors are double glazed for strength, and this also aids energy efficiency. Doors are lockable as standard for added security. Thank you for your feedback, we're sorry to hear this. The website advises these units are made for commercial environments such as bars and restaurants where the noise level is not as noticeable - the dB level is stated on the product listing and is around 63dB

“This is a review made of two very different parts. The first unit that was delivered stopped working three days after we powered it up. We tried to engage wtih Empire Direct and didn't get anywhere for a long time! Then we had to pay for a fridge specialist to come to the house and to diagnose that the compressor was not working. Eventually my wife got in touch with Empire Direct again and this time (I believe the previous customer rep had left the job), you agreed to swap the unit with a new one and pick up the old one. The new one is working great and we are now happy with the product and with Empire Direct One note: the machine is a bit noisy, which we didn't check before buying”

“JUST THE JOB - Most similar chillers are slightly taller and so wouldn't fit beneath our worktop but this one fits the space perfectly. Ours is for our home, not a pub or club, and looks absolutely brilliant in our utility room. It's really effective and chills beer and wine to a perfect temperature (better than a 'fridge). The LED lighting is cool too although we tend to leave it off for a lot of the time. This is a solid, professional, piece of kit and it shouts 'quality product'.The only criticism is that it is very noisy in operation. This wouldn't be noticed in a pub but, in a home, it could be really intrusive. We can shut the utility door so it isn't a problem but, be warned, this is far, far noisier than a 'fridge. I also suspect that it is quite power hungry (that efficient cooling uses a lot of energy) so be prepared for the impact on your electricity bill.Ordering was easy and delivery swift and efficient and I'd, definitely, use Empire again. This is just the job for us.”
