The Empire double sliding door back bar chiller in Black with LED Lighting is perfect for keeping your best sellers chilled and ready at your disposal. With two large, clear doors, this multipurpose beer fridge comes with a range of useful features, including an integral temperature controller and auto defrost. Fan direct cooling means the temperature is kept within a consistent range of 0 to 10c and the electronic temperature control with digital display keeps you informed of this information throughout operation. Behind the self closing, sliding doors are four adjustable shelves (two for each door) illuminated by the interior horizontal LED light. The doors are double glazed for strength, and this also aids energy efficiency. Doors are lockable as standard for added security. Two feet are adjustable for easy levelling and there is a water tray to collect any excess condensation which collects around the refrigeration system. “I initially thought that this was a good company until I realised my cooler was faulty and contacted them. I purchased my cooler in February and everything seemed ok. As it got to summer and the weather started getting hotter I noticed that the cooler was leaking lots of water from the back. I rang the company who told me that it was condensation which seemed a bit strange as there is a drip tray in the back of the cooler to collect the water, and there was a lot of water leaking from it. I decided to open the back of cooler and have a look what was going on. As I opened it I could see water leaking from the pipe that goes up into the fridge and which cools it. The pipe had a bit of sealant round it but it had not been sealed properly so the water which runs into the gully at the back was running straight down the hole for the pipe. It had also not been sealed properly in the gully at the back also so the condensated water was not running down the drain pipe in the center into the drip tray. The worse thing was the water was actually running over the electrical wires and connectors in the back of the cooler which could have caught fire and burnt my house down! I called Empire supplies back and informed them of this. The person who I spoke to didn't seem interested at all and just said that I would need to pay a Refrigeration engineer out at my expense and they would supply the parts needed under the guarantee. I explained to the person who I spoke to that there was no parts required and that this was a manufacturing issue only however they would not listen. I have since had to turn my the cooler off as I cannot risk using it.”
