The good points - the light displays look nice enough and are effective. I wanted one of these multifunction party bars that doesn't have one of those red/green dot laser fixtures as I'm really not a fan. So, to find one with strobe, etc and not just par lights WITHOUT the laser isn't that easy. If it was easier, I'd probably return this due to the bad points coming up. But, it's perfectly functional and easy to use. The lights look nice when switched on - just what I was after. The bad points - *The whole thing feels cheap. The plastic housing around the lighting units feels particularly flimsy and low grade. As does the included stand, which feels unsteady and poorly constructed. *I know it's listed, but the height of the stand is kind of laughably low. It's 5ft9 which means you end up with the retina-scorching brightness straight in most people's eye level. *I mentioned the awful stand, but if you want anything resembling a functional unit for DJing, you're gonna need to buy a decent stand (it's a standard speaker stand and luckily I had one spare) and a case. Yes, there's not even a cheap slip case thrown in to carry it around in which is ridiculous. You can buy an Equinox case for £30 or this brand has a set for about £35 So, get ready to spend at least an extra £50+ if you have any thoughts of gigging this bar. *The plug that it comes with is short too. So that's another thing I have to buy - a kettle lead extension. I think that's it. And this isn't me being a snob. None of my lights are expensive, but this package is full of flaws. The only saving grace from this going straight back is that the actual unit looks nice when in use which is why it isn't 1 or 2 stars. None of the reviews are more than a sentence and I just wanted people to be exactly aware of what will be the issues they will face with this. If you're just using it at home, it's fine. If you want to gig it - get ready to spend.
