“I needed to replace a dual switch and this was the only product I could find that did this. It works well, but it could be better in 2 ways - I'd like to disable the light sensor, but there's no option to do that. As I control an outside light with the timer and a hall light with the other switch, putting the hall lights on makes the programmer think it's daylight and messes up the settings. Also, the timer is very approximate - it works, but it isn't easy to make sensitive adjustments.”
“Used this for the light outside the front door - turn on at dusk. The double gang switch makes it possible to turn the outside light without affecting the other interior lights on the 2 gang switch.
Works well although can be upset by artificial lights near the sensor - creating a false light to dark transition. (Instructions do warn of this)
They used to make a similar switch with timer programming and this was better than light sensing ZV215. No longer available in a 2 gang model so this is best alternative available.
Unit is guaranteed 3 years & this replaced same unit which failed after 8 years of daily use.”
