“I bought to convert a number of 1970s Simplex enamels lights, but the thread is very reluctant to screw into the existing imperial 3/4 conduit thread, needs heating up, oiling and a pair of mole grips to go in....makes life difficult, may as well drill and re-tap!”
“The 3/4 thread is slightly too large, I wanted some to restore coughtrie, holophane and prismalux light fittings. These don’t fit, I am currently awaiting collection and a credit.”
“I have been restoring old iron bulkhead lamps having old 3/4" imperial threads. These very useful adaptors allow modern metric conduit fittings to be used. It took me a while to track them down. I'm glad I found a company which supplies them. Long may it continue!”
“Obviously used in construction of an electrical conduit system and would be of use for electricians adapting/altering an old imperial installation. Quality of the product was reasonable.”
“We were on the lookout for a supplier of good quality but cost effective conduit adaptors to enable us to restore and fit some vintage lighting. These did the job perfectly!”
