“Does what it claims, but caution needed when installing inside larger houses with many interconnecting doors. The signal will be attenuated by these, so if the bell unit is beyond them the transmitted signal may not reach them. Careful testing is needed. Also, the converter wired connections are fragile and easily broken, and if so the item may be unserviceable. Great care needed during planning and installation. The 3 operational modes make this device usable in many situations.”

“Works well. Appears well made. Comes complete with battery. Only oddity is that it looks like the battery is required even when unit is connected to a bell transformer.”
