“Bought 2 of these. Not suitable for what i needed. My idea was to keep an eye on my van at the front of my house on driveway. But the PIR go off so many times a day its annoying, that i now turned it off.
Ive tried the features on it "masking" which means the PIR will only come on in certain areas of its vision but I've had to reduce both cameras down to 10% of its vision and reduce the sensitivities as well.
Problem is if a passing car faces my house with its headlights on even though its masked from screen it will still go off. If the sun is shining through my tree the shadows of the tree on the van makes the PIR go off. Any sort of shadow anywhere will set these off.
The quality of the playback is also poor. Ive got Virgin Fibre 108mB, so you can't blame the wifi.
Overall the make of it is of good quality, setup was a bit difficult, far too many passwords and security numbers to setup. Speaker phone on them as well is poor, just a gimmick really.”
