The 900 Series door entry systems are recognised for their high quality and competitive pricing and are widely accepted as the industry standard. Each system provides all of the components necessary to install a complete audio door entry system; including a surface lock release as standard. Please note the 203 lock release for inwardly opening doors only. Cable requirements For optimum speach clarity, it is recommended that this system is installed using twisted-pair CAT5e 4 pair twisted (8 cores) See our cables section. For cable distances greater than 50m or for other lock releases please contact us. For a Single Flat/Office 4 cores are required from the Entrance Door Panel Speech unit (Ref. 61) to the the Internal Wall Phone (Ref.801), This comprises of 3 for Speech and 1 for the Door Lock Relaese (Ref.203), then a 5th core is required for the Bell Push on the Door Unit to call the Flat
