Bell 05283 BC/B22d cap with a G9 42 watt 240volt 2000 hour halogen dimmable lamp equivalent to 60 watt old style lamp (35% energy saving). When the G9 bulb needs to be replaced just pull the used lamp out of the adaptor and plug into the existing adaptor a new G9 lamp, the new lamp could be changed to a 28 watt G9 halogen equal to old style lamp 40 watt or a 42 watt G9 equal to old style 60 watt lamp These adaptors are useful when lighting a traditional chandelier which requires a bright sparkling clear light effect rather than a energy saving compact florescent candle lamp.
