Bell Lighting LED 284mm Double Ended Replacement Opal Striplamp, rated at 4 watt 240 Volt an alternative to CFL 7 watt Fluorescent and a replacement for the 30/60 watt incandescent tungsten lamp. Usually used for concealed lighting and shaverlights.   The lamp must be positioned with the back section facing towards the Fixture/Fitting as per instruction on the lamp.

“Sorry, I mentioned this in the last page - they are terribly white and not warm as one would expect form the fact they seem an LED replacement for the old Opel tubes - do they make a more yellow one?”

“This is a fantastic replacement for a 30W 284mm incandescent striplight. No external additions or alterations needed, it just goes straight into your existing fitting. It actually produces a bit more light than a 30W incandescent, yet only consumes 4W. My fitting is a wall mounted picture light. The colour is quoted as "warm white" but as with most warm white LEDs this still appears a bit whiter than the incandescent equivalent, however it's still a very pleasant colour for domestic lighting. This bulb is non-dimmable. It's quite weird replacing a glass bulb which has metal end caps, with an entirely plastic bulb apart from the little solder blob contacts at each end, hehehe, but once installed it looks and performs exactly like the old one. Very impressed - hopefully one day this style of bulb will also be available as a dimmable item as I have another one on a dimmer which I'd also like to replace.”
