“The car park is just about OK but there are barriers for the sake of barriers makes it difficult for pedestrians. Who decided on the requirement for a fixed barrrier between fast park and surface park.... obviously somebody who has never come off a plane with suitcases and kids in tow! Miss a sign and you find yourself in a dead end with a hundred yards or more to backtrack (most likely in the pouring rain). Think about pedestrians, not just car parking. People who park cars have to get to and from the terminal in all weathers with heavy luggage. Cramming as many cars as possible into a small space then adding barrier upon barrier makes life far more difficult than it needs to be. I would suggest you sack the person in charge of barrier errection and hire someone who will take them all down.”

Thank you for your review, The barriers are in place to separate car parks and for safety reasons. There is a designated walking route for each car park that do not require you to pass through barriers. I’m sorry to hear you found our wayfinding confusing. Clear signage is one of the most important things to have in any busy environment, but especially in an airport. “The entry gate did not recognise my number plate, but that was resolved by me using the phone at the at the gate. Access to the terminal building was fine but once inside we didn’t find the signage very good and we were confused with the 2 arrival gates at opposite ends of the building both of which seemed to handle international and domestic flights.”

“Wasn't very clear what was Terminal car park or not and my reference wasn't printed on the ticket so I had to ring the intercom. Apart from that it went fairly smoothly.”

It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit.
