When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. “Tried to make me pay a further £150 when picking up my car even though I pre booked. This has also happened to me before. I pressed the help button on the ticket machine and got let out but it’s not good.”

“Exit problems. I have recently stayed in both the midstay surface parking and the multi-storey car parking having pre booked. I have no problem with the parking element but on two of the three occasions I have used Edinburgh airport parking this year when I have reached the exit barrier there has been a demand for a parking fee. On both occasions the problem was resolved quite quickly over the intercom but it is annoying that the system would appear to be able to read my registration number to calculate a supposed unpaid parking fee but not able to identify that the parking had been prepaid.”

“Easy to find and get a parking space However upon return when I put card in machine to exit I was asked for £180 payment this despite the fact I had pre paid for the duration, I had to contact the office explaining rhe situation, he opened the gate”
