Tried to make me pay a further £150 when picking up my car even though I pre booked. This has also happened to me before. I pressed the help button on the ticket machine and got let out but it’s not good.

Thank you for your review, It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. I understand the frustration that it causes however I'm glad you managed to get it sorted at the time. Kind regards, Customer Support Team

Easy to book, great location close to the terminal and quick exit from the car park on return. Very cost-effective for being so close to the terminal

It's a great place to park for convenience, but it's still far too expensive at £50 for two days in off-season.

Exit problems. I have recently stayed in both the midstay surface parking and the multi-storey car parking having pre booked. I have no problem with the parking element but on two of the three occasions I have used Edinburgh airport parking this year when I have reached the exit barrier there has been a demand for a parking fee. On both occasions the problem was resolved quite quickly over the intercom but it is annoying that the system would appear to be able to read my registration number to calculate a supposed unpaid parking fee but not able to identify that the parking had been prepaid.

Easy to find and get a parking space However upon return when I put card in machine to exit I was asked for £180 payment this despite the fact I had pre paid for the duration, I had to contact the office explaining rhe situation, he opened the gate

The parking was great, the £170 charge I was asked to pay (I had booked and paid in advance) when I tried to exit at 02:30 wasn't, but the staff member on the other end of the intercom was excellent.

Number plate recognition took ages to work getting in. On exit barrier would not accept ticket had to buzz through to get out. Technology is great when it works. Handy for the terminal though.
