Another visit and another time my vehicle is not recognised on anpr Surely it can’t be too difficult to sort

Thank you for your review. It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit and I understand the frustration that it causes. Straight through the barriers without any issues. The 6 hour grace period on leaving the car park was fantastic as we were over 4 hours late getting back to Edinburgh airport from Cyprus because of massive delays due to bad weather.

Fairly priced for the proximity and duration. The. car park was well signposted, but I chose to test the other car parks, and was politely advised by each entry barrier that I was in the wrong place. Easy to find a convenient parking space. Was between a lovely green Mini and a frosty looking red Audi. However the three cars seemed to get on well and no arguments were had.

The number plate recognition system for prepaid parking often doesn't work causing delays on departure. The only pedestrian access is from the terminal. If you're staying at one of the airport hotels before or after your trip you have to walk on the roads to get to or from the mid-stay car park.
