“Having booked Fast Park a long time in advance, we were upset to arrive and be told that there was no room for us: just park over there.
We did not get the service we had paid for, nor an apology. Surely this deserves some recompense?
We are very disappointed having praised the Edinburgh Fast Park to many people.

“Regarding the booking reference above, we arrived at Edinburgh FastPark on the 6th of April at around 4.45am and was told that you were full and we were being upgraded to the Terminal Car Park, we drove round for around half and hour before eventually finding a space is the over-flow car park for the Terminal Car parking, to be specific row K which couldn’t be further from the departure area at Edinburgh Airport if it tried.
One of the party has serious mobility issues and the walk was very distressing and tiring for them.
We have used FastPark numerous times and why would you take my booking if the carpark was full?
FastPark is not the cheapest option for parking but due to mobility issues it worked well for us in the past. It would have been much easier if you had informed us prior to arrival that the car park was full and we would have cancelled and gone to another carpark off site which would have been much easier, cheaper and would not have resulted in that very long and tiring walk to departures.
Finally, to make the experience even worse when we tried to exit the car park they advised they were looking for £455.00, so yet another delay until someone answered and let us out of the car park.
So why take my booking knowingly when the car park was full!!!!

“Great system, easy drop off and quick access to the terminal. On return it was less clear where to go and signposts dried up at one point. A quick ask and we were on our way, collecting key and out the airport in minutes. Better signage on the return would have been 5 stars all the way.”
