“All brilliant at start, very straightforward process, drive up, leave car in allocated lane and drop off keys. Upon return scan and collect keys. Then the issue started because to leave the first barrier area you scan your paperwork but gate never opened so then had to press for ticket. The sign next to the button actually had an apology, so appears system wasn’t functioning properly. Then proceeded to final barrier and presented my new ticket however barrier wouldn’t open and stated I had to pay £6 for over staying. Any issue press button for intercom, but this exit had no intercom. Had to reverse past a few cars back to a barrier with an intercom and re-presented my ticket, again no joy, was informed over stayed and payment required. Pressed intercom and explained issue to then be interrogated despite my explanation and also state flight and time of arrival. Flight was on time and I had returned to my car within 39 minutes. Then finally the barrier lifted. So a mixed bag, good start but frustrating trying to exit due to the system being obviously broken. Strange how not every exit has an intercom despite the screen stating press button to speak to someone?”
