“Solidly made, great looking semi-manual espresso machine. It works great once you get used to the important factors in making a great espresso whilst steaming up perfect latte or cappuccino milk.
To be fair, it takes a bit of getting used to, I have the Sage smart grinder which is very accurate in providing the single or double espresso grind, tamping is easy and the metal card to check the coffee level will create the perfect espresso. The pressure gauge shows you the different pressures for low infusion 6-8secs and then 9bar perfect pressure to finish off the perfect espresso.
The machine has software defaults which work great, for the barista out there you can tinker and create custom settings for the perfect volume shot, temperature etc. It's a very cleverly designed machine, in the first week I cannot fault it on anything.
It really does create a coffee as good as Starbucks or Costa in your home, it's a little pricey tbh however if you are happy to pay >£3 for a coffee in the shops all the time, you'll claw it back.”

“I bought this from Dawsons 3 years ago and having had several coffee machines over the years I can say this is the Rolls Royce of machines. Excellent beans are best to get the perfect cup of coffee and the Sage grinder again is top notch. We are not fans of ready ground although the machine does take it. The oils in the bean break down buy the grinder and best beans for the perfect cup.”
