“This coffee machine has been the machine of my dreams for about 6 months. And I am in love, it makes my kitchen look beautiful and it brings me a lot of joy and the coffee tastes lovely! It's a slick piece of kit that is easy to clean and brews a delish coffee when needed :) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!”
“Have always wanted a bean to cup machine, but size has been a problem. This Smeg is smaller and more compact than the usual beasts that are on the market; perfect for our bijoux kitchen. Choosing the colour wasn’t a problem as I had wanted to paint my old barista machine red anyway! Added bonus was that red was half the RRP price (thank you Dawsons Dept Store/eCookshop.) Instruction manual is like reading War and Peace, but worth the time to understand the intricacies of this clever machine. Only downside; coffee temperature. I worked hard to overcome, but freshly pulled coffee only warm most of the time. Dawsons very kindly replaced the machine, as did Smeg. Smeg scientifically carried out tests and assured me that the coffee would reach 70 degrees, but that was after pouring boiling water into the cup and/or pulling a coffee first to warm up the pipework then pulling another that meets my expectations. Not an eco friendly option! However, despite all this I love this machine and am persevering with it. Just need to drink my Cappuccino quicker!”
“Pretty, makes good coffee. I got bean to cup because I know fresh beans are better. The unit is well organised, doesn't take much space. Reasonably quick. I personally miss not filling the basket, using the tamper, etc. I got a very good deal, less than half price, at full price is have bought a £200 machine, with a grinder. That said it really does eek out a lot of flavour, stranger works well too.”
“Absolutely love it
Makes amazing coffee
I’m a real coffee snob and anyone who loves coffee will totally enjoy the experience of making a perfect cup of coffee and drinking it!”
