“Bought one with other matching appliances in 2015. It’s a good toaster, toasting both sides evenly and has all the features you would expect. It’s a bit on the big side and very expensive for a two slice toaster but it’s the only one in the Artisan range in Candy Apple.
Unfortunately the elements blew this week and the five year warranty had run out.
I tried to get it repaired, I even rang KitchenAid but had no success anywhere. No one seems to repair toasters and you can’t buy the elements as spare parts.
So reluctantly I decided to buy another one. (20%off at the eCookshop), I hope this one lasts longer.”
“Brilliant I never thought a toaster would make that much difference to my toast but it does and for bagels as well, I haven’t tried the sandwich rack yet I know that it will not be disappointed.”
“This toaster is lovely, looks very good in my kitchen. It's quite heavy, this makes is stable. I have tried various toasting levels to check it out, on the lower settings it toast evenly, but on the higher settings it toasts uneven. I haven't tried the sandwich toastie attachment yet. Just a pity that you can't register your new product on line, system not working, KitchenAid don't reply to your emails either.”
