“The shutter looks and works great. However after installing I pulled the shutter down and when I tried to push it back up it snagged half way and would not roll all the way back up. After removing the cartridge the internal spring released, which suggested the cassette was too tight in the cabinet. After measuring the internal of the cabinet it was 963 mm. 1 mm smaller than the 964 I was expecting. I used a large forstener bit to take 1 mm out of each side of the cabinet in the area of the center of the cassette. Reassembled the roller door and it worked perfectly. So just make sure the internal of the cabinet measures 36mm less (18mm sides) than the specific width of your chosen roller door and it will work great. With out this hiccup fitting would have been extremely easy.”

Thank you for your recent review of our tambour doors. We do advise on the listing the tambours are only suitable for units made from 18mm material. So an internal width of 964mm would be required but I am pleased you were able to modify and enable it to work for you. I am really pleased you found the tambour door to be easy to fit
