“The iPhone 6s is an excellent handset that I would fully recommend to anyone.
The phone feels good in your hand and feels sturdy unlike other phones that feel like they might snap in half if you hold it too tight. I am prone to dropping the phone by accident so I have a shock proof case on it which, so far, has protected it more times than I care to admit!
The camera is excellent and produces fantastic pictures. The panoramic and live features have been my favourite elements from the iOS software which have been enhanced by such a decent camera.
The fingerprint scanner has always been a massive timesaver. As a professional in the education sector, it is essential that I have my phone passcode locked. On other phones, this became tedious, when in a rush, to keep having to unlock the phone with a pin. With the iPhone 6s, all it takes is one quick hit of the home button and it recognises my thumb print and unlocks the phone. I have owned other devices with similar features however, these would rarely detect your fingerprint and I ended up switching off the feature. I have never had any issues with print detection with this phone.
Whilst I mostly use Bluetooth speakers, the sound quality is also really good with the inbuilt speakers.
I haven't really used the 3D Touch feature much but I can see how it can be useful.
Battery life is decent and lasts the day with some heavy use.
My only advice for an interested purchaser would be to get a larger internal memory than 16GB. With better quality photographs comes higher memory usage. I also like to have offline playlists on Spotify which have eaten into the available memory. For my use, the next one up would have been better.
As always, the iPhone has an expensive and sometimes unnecessary price tag. However, with the release of the iPhone 7, you will start to find some good deals for this phone. I would personally choose this over the iPhone 7 for amazing features and for the cheaper deals you will now find.
Overall, I would highly recommend this phone for its great feel, amazing features and good battery life.”
“The phone arrived promptly and the price was very competitive. However I have been using iPhones since they were launched and the iPhone 6s compared to my previous iPhone 6 doesn't seem as good. There are some annoying features such as...when you are writing a message on eBay you can't see the whole field, and when you have written a couple of sentences you can't see what you are writing because the text doesn't move up and can't even be viewed manually. Also the battery life is very poor and often only lasts a couple of hours.
Give me my old phone back any day!!”
