“These are fine, but I would like to see more options for key chains and non-plastic. Shipping is too expensive and I know it includes vat, but there are other companies that offer cheaper delivery for the weight. It has put me off placing smaller orders and doesn't fit with the website packages for people holding fetes or weddings etc.”
Hi Samantha, thank you for your feedback. The issues you mention are things that we are constantly looking at. We would love to find a sustainable material as an alternative to plastic and we are looking into various options but of course whatever it is it needs to work well within the tolerances of our machines to produce good end products. We have used metal badge backs in the past and wouldn't rule this out again however the metal was inconsistent in strength and some customers had problems with their badges not making/metal bending which was not satisfactory. That led to the decision to stop until we had a better solution. Regarding shipping; again this is something we constantly monitor but for the moment we decided to keep our product prices as low and competitive as possible and have shipping price bandings depending on weight of the total order. Other companies may decide to add cost to the products to hide some of the shipping cost thereby offering lower prices. We offer a Royal mail first class option for small items and are looking to add a second class option on the website soon. We can arrange second class at the moment if you contact us beforehand.
