Distilled at Clynelish distillery in 1995 and aged for more than 26 years in a single ex-sherry butt, which yielded a total of 576 bottles. This is a dram layered with delicious baked goods, dark fruit and warming spices.On the nose we find a rich, buttery tarte Tatin, laced with cinnamon spice and served alongside a tray of various dessert wines to match the caramelised orchard fruits. The palate is a combination of delicious treats! Dark chocolate, infused with orange oil, cinnamon and ginger. Chocolate coated, sherry soaked sultanas and a cup of demerara-sugar-sweetened black tea, served alongside a piece of rich, dark fruit cake. The finish is long and lightly spiced. Soft brown sugar and cinnamon linger until the end.
