Bumbu is an exquisite all-natural craft rum made with native Caribbean ingredients and aged for up to 15 years to create an effortlessly smooth and balanced rum with complexity and depth. The heritage of the production of Bumbu rum dates back to the 16th and 17th centuries, when sailors and merchants of the West Indies added Caribbean fruits and spices to their rum to enhance its flavour. This drink was dubbed with the moniker of Bumbu.Nose: Rich and complex aromas of Madagascar vanilla, soft caramel and toasted oak.Palate: Notes of cinnamon, roasted nuts and allspice, perfectly blended to achieve a mild sweetness.Finish: Light and smooth.

“A smooth sweet rum of the cane sugar variety, heavy hints of vanilla. Very pleasant neat or with a mixer if you like the flavoured varieties of rum. One of my regular purchases - highly recommended.”

“Bought a bottle in January 2017 from Drinkfinder's Shop in Constantine at their suggestion. A present for a friend. He loved it, so I called in and bought him three more. He shared with friends, who now swear by it as their favourite, bestest ever Rum. Next time I visited I bought six bottles for them. (they've started paying me back now). I've ordered twelve bottles on line and that came from Drinkfinder, carefully packaged and very quickly. I am going to the shop again on Wednesday for more. I'll leave you to decide whether other people like it - not just me!”

“Don't let the name put you off :) This rum has strong overtones of vanilla and other flavours less so. Great with a mixer over ice in a tall glass. Once mixed, Quite a smooth taste less sickly than some other vanilla type spiced rums currently on the market.”

“The bottle shows an inviting clear amber liquid, with a good quality cork. The taste is sublime with warm undertones, very drinkable. Excellent value for money and definitely a high quality drink beating many similar products in taste. Enjoy!”
