Love this read wine - it continues to be my favourite even compared to bottles multiple times more expensive. great to drink on its own or accompanying food. Very light, smooth and fruity. I don't know anyone that doesn't like it a lot!

Excellent wine for everyday use. Value for money. Have not found another wine to match McGuigans Black Label at the same price.

I think this is an excellent red wine, smooth, lots of flavour, good with food or just supping. Have ordered several times and consistently good. One of the few wines I don't get a headache after drinking. And not a bad price really.

I’ve written reviews for this particular red before, so its rather hard to say anything different really, so this is pretty much a repeat. This is the best red todate I've ever happened upon - have tried others, but so far there's no comparison - am stuck in a bit of a time warp / comfort zone! My first chance encounter with this wine was via a well-known supermarket but they no longer stock it. Hence I entered the product into a search engine, found a supplier and ordered 6 bottles - and have been replenishing ever since. It’s an easy-drinking wine with a smooth, well-rounded finish and doesn’t leave any unpleasant ‘tannin’ dry after-taste. Friend’s who are more of a wine-buff than I’ll ever be, have commented that it could pass easily pass for a red at least twice as much as the £6+ it currently costs, and they now seek it out for themselves, praise indeed!
