“I understand that this product states for boxers but the image on the packaging shows a dogue de Bordeaux wearing the muzzle. So assuming it would be suitable for most large short snouted dogs, I tried this muzzle on my 5 year old Dogue de Bordeaux and although it fits around his nose...just. It is not suitable for its intended use. Due to it only just fitting he could easily pull apart the velcro holding it together as there is not enough strap length to fit through the hook. Also the strap that covers the top of the head is far too short causing his face to be squashed to within the confines of the muzzle. All in all it causes a very distressed dog.”
