“This is our second vario. The first lasted for 3 1/2 years. Not bad for a strong beagle that pulls a lot, walked twice a day. The tape started to fray at a single point. Bought this new one days before the other finally snapped. We also bought light and multi box accessories. Like the light for poo collecting at night and we use the multi box for treats. Overall and very useful, if fairly expensive lead.”

“Excellent lead, works a treat except the actual clip that fixes to the collar is too small. We have a Tibetan Terrier who "wiggles" about at sight of a lead, so it's tricky to find collar with all the fur and then attach clip to it.. It would be great if Flexi sold additional lead ends with different size clips.”

“Love the quality of the Vario makes. Personally I prefer the tape to the corded version. My dog loves to be off the leash ( who wouldn’t) but there are times when your dog should definitely not be allowed to roam free such as crossing land where sheep are present so the Vario allows your dog some restricted freedom.”

“I like Flexi vario (Tape) leads. I use the the next size up from the one suggested for my dog (Westie) due to the fact that it’s a 5m Tape type. Works great in a countryside environment where dogs are asked to be kept on a leash allowing controlled freedom but with the benifit of bringing the dog back to my side when need be. Handle is really comfortable. Walking in built up areas I tend to use a normal lead.”
