“The bolts are too short for use in the giant crate. I understand that they should not protrude too far into the crate but when using the spring washer beneath the nut, it was almost impossible to get the nut to bite on the thread of the bolt. After an hour and a half and only two nuts and bolts secured (there are 16 of them) I gave up. I had to buy slightly longer bolts, which didn't protrude any further because the original bolts were so short that the nut didn't even reach the point of being level with the top of the bolt when tightened. The bolt supplied only needs to be about 3mm longer. Nuffield said”
