“This is the first stationery exercise that I have purchased (so not quite sure what to expect) but it seems to be just what I wanted and expected. Sturdy, smooth and with multiple programme options. Very pleased so far!”
“It is a good quality exercise bike, not expensive, fairly easy to assemble, ideal for home use. The control panel and electrical connections look a bit cheap.”
“We bought the AM3i at the beginning of lock down together with a small TV and, on any morning when the weather is unsuitable for an outdoor bike ride we use the exercise bike - normally for 30 minutes on something like Performance 2 - and catch up with the morning news. It is very smooth and progressive. The only squeak comes from flexing at the base of the handlebar stem. Maximum tightening at the base reduces most of the noise.”
“Excellent exercise bike is comfortable to ride and has many pre programmed sessions and the ability to set manual sessions too. Very quiet and smooth auto gear changes. Good to keep track on time spent, calories and distance (i am almost back from Hungary on my latest trip). A very well built machine and very easy to put together and doesn't take up too much space. Would be happy to recommend this machine to anybody.”
“A great piece of kit. Very easy to put together but may need two people.
The interface is simple and the variable resistance is easy to control and predictable.”
“Very please with this bike. I expected to pay much more for an item of similar quality to those in leisure centres. At £300 it is excellent value and comfortable to use. The resistance is on a scale of 1 to 32. As a 74 year old I use it set to 30. ! would expect 32 may still be low for a younger, stronger man,”
“Easy to use, good preset programmes and good quality cycling and resistance. All our family use it a lot and it’s been a great purchase.
The two suggestions I would make would be on the user interface:
- have the timer default to 20 or 30 minutes (currently it starts at zero and you have to increase it to your desired exercise time)
- have named User profiles that are easier to retrieve and that store your history so you get a sense of achievement/ progression. We’ve stopped bothering with the profiles as they are.”
