“Had a 5 inch record vice, before I managed to snap it. This 8 inch definitely looks stronger and the extra depth and jaw opening will come in handy. I`ve added the swivel base to mine because I found a fixed one limited use when the edge of the bench got in the way. Swinging the jaws away from the edge is very helpful. It`s listed as indestructible, I hope so because my last one didn`t survive my abuse. overall , pleased with it and it was a great price from this seller.”
