“I was really disappointed that the full package cost was not explained when I purchased the deal.
When first contacting the store, I was told to get the recommended fitter to come out and do a survey, I did this and he said it would be fine to do the deal and did not explain there would be an extra cost for knocking out.
When I went in to the shop to pay again they did not say that there could be an extra cost for knocking out. Given that I have never had a log burning stove installed, I would expect them to explain that there is two cost and ask me if the fitter has said if a knock out was required.
I appreciate that the fitter is freelance, but it is appalling customer service that this isn’t being explained as we had to find an extra £300.”
It's made very clear in the showroom and on the paperwork what the standard installation cost is and what it covers. It also explains that there's an extra cost of £300 if a knockout is required. This was clearly explained when you brought the stove and it's on at least 5 posters offering the deal around the showroom.

The fire is great and it looks lovely in our living room.
The Installation team did a good job fitting the burner. The only bad thing they didn't do was plaster around the chimney.
I have had to pay out extra £250 pounds for a plasterer.”
