It's great to hear that you've been getting so much use out of your new Stovax Stockton 8 multifuel stove. A modern solid fuel stove such as the Stockton 8 is indeed a fantastic alternative to an open fire, as they boast much higher efficiency (the Stockton 8 giving up to 81% to the room) as well as a much higher heat output.
