“The stove looks like a realistic log burner but doesn't have the mess of the ash and pollution of a real fire. It gives out a good heat, and realistic flame and should be enough to warm a medium to large room. However being only 4.7 kW it doesn't require a permanent air vent, which would partly defeat the object from the draught. It is one of the wider models available and thus fills the space well of a larger fireplace. The fire is controlled from one knob, although the ignition is a bit fiddly. We plan to use it to heat the lounge diner as the central heating struggles to keep this space warm enough in mid-winter.”
