“It is a really nice looking stove but the design is poor.
Problems:
The ash drops through the grate and misses the ash pan at the back. Unless scrapped out daily, the ash gets pushed into the air supply outlet, under the grate and blocks off the air supply.
The fitting that stops fuel falling out, locates into two square indents on the grate. These indents fill with ash and prevent the fitting locating properly.
Our stove arrived with the primary air control lever being very difficult to move. The lever will move but it is very tight. I had hoped it was just the newness and with use, it would free off, but several months on it is still as tight. Due to our location returning or even a warranty claim is problematic.
As stated at the start it is a nice looking stove but I would not buy it again.”
