“The body of the stove is made well and very strong. The flame effect is OK but comes with a very loud hum that gives you a headache. The "glass" front is made of 1mm perspex that is a complete joke considering how well made the body is made. Why use 1mm thin perspex when the body is made of quality cast iron! This is the second time I have been asked to write a review for this product (maybe they hoped I would leave the negative comments out the second time! I would not recommend this product until they remove the constant hum and replace the "glass" with a real glass or a decent piece of perspex.”
“Impressed. The stove is nicely finished cast iron, coupled with the stovepipe and boss it "looks the part". The electric fire itself is a separate module that provides a convincing effect. Overall very happy.
If Broseley wants to make improvements they can look at the remote controller, the backlight does not stay on for anywhere near long enough. Also, the main stove should have an additional switch so that the electric fan heater can be switched off leaving only the flame effect active.”
“Stove looks very realistic and the flame effect is remarkably good. Warms a large room within a couple of minutes - it's replaced a wood burner so no more getting logs in, laying the fire, clearing ashes, waiting ages for some heat and leaving it heating the room long after we've finished using it.”
