“Since purchase we have experienced continual issues with the performance of the fire following installation.
Initially we had trouble with the performance of the App following which the fire decided to automatically illuminate itself during the night (Not the Heater). Following this the backlighting flame effect would not turn off from the remote control. Since when we intermittently need to turn the fire off / reset at the fire, which necessitates having to remove the chrome panels to get to the switch.
On bringing this to the attention of the supplier we were told to fill out a manufacturers warranty claim. Why is it necessary to do this on a fire only installed 4 days previous.
We await the engineers visit but feel it only fair to expect the unit to be replaced in total.”

We're sorry to hear of any issue with the fire received. In terms of heat, we list a 1.5kW output for the Colorado C1 which is fairly standard for an inset electric fire. These are designed for occasional and supplementary heating, for which the listed output is usually sufficient, as opposed to a primary heat source in a room.
Regarding the noise of the fan heater, we would suggest sending a video of the issue including sound through to our customer service team, customerservice@direct-fireplaces.com. If you can include your order number and a description of the problem as well, they will look into this matter further and be in touch.
