“I bought this product online which was no problem but I would have liked to see it first.
I visited the showroom but they couldn't help me with a viewing as they only sell this fire online .
The staff were friendly and very helpful and did try to find the fire without success.
The fire arrived and was a great product looks great and easy to install.

“Love the fire but can't make the remote do anything except switch the fire on or off. Don't see the point of a remote if the fire can only be controlled by the control panel on side of fire.”

We're pleased to hear that you've been enjoying the electric fire, though we're sorry to hear of any difficulty operating the fire with the remote supplied. The manufacturer's user instructions do state that "these remote control buttons work exactly the same as the buttons on the front panel of the fireplace/heater", so it should be possible to adjust the power, lighting and heat settings all from the remote.

“I am thrilled with the fire, it looks amazing. However one small hiccup was a faint flickering caused by something catching whilst flames were in operation possibly caused in transit.My electrician was able to rectify this and all is well.”

As you mention, electrical components can sometimes be shifted slightly in transit but this is thankfully rare and usually easily rectified. it's good to hear that this was sorted out by the electrician and that you've been enjoying the new fire.
