“Beautiful look and feel to this sheet, I know it will serve us well for years to come. The quality and density of weave is like nothing else I've purchased. Only reason it's not a 5 is that it is a little loose on a deep single matress. Peace of mind for my daughter's eczema and Fair trade too......Why cant all products we buy have these crudencials??? Thanks”

Morning Mair! Thank you for your great review. We're so happy to hear that you love the look and quality of our sheets as well as support our ethos. Just a note on the size – we don't use any harmful sizing chemicals like formaldehyde to pre-shrink our our bedding like companies using conventional cotton, so our bedding is designed to allow for this. After the first wash or two it should fit perfectly!

“On the website this shows a tightly fitted single sheet but that is definitely not the case it is loose. I measured my bed and it is definitely the size of a single but I suspect a small single might be a tighter fit and I am almost inclined to return the second of the two singles and try a small single but am not confident that it will be a tight fit.”

Good morning Bob! Completely natural cotton will shrink the first few times it is washed. Ours is 100% Organic, so our bed linen is therefore deliberately manufactured and designed to be ever so slightly too big to allow for this shrinkage. There is an endless list of chemicals often used in the farming and manufacturing of conventional cotton, including sizing chemicals to pre-shrink products – which we of course don’t use. After the first wash or two it will fit beautifully on a standard single size mattress, which is one of the reasons we suggest our customers wash their bed linen before using it. After washing, I hope you'll be as happy as all of our previous customers who've given us great feedback for our fitted sheets - but we do have a 30 day trial promise so you can send your sheets back to us if you're still not happy with them after being washed. We're also always on hand so just send us an email or give us a call if you have any questions.

“After reading all the horrible consequences of non organic cotton farming in the paper recently, I bought these sheets. Feel wonderful, fit the bed perfectly and I can sleep more easily knowing my sheets didn't pollute some poor person's drinking water. Thank you Dip & Doze.”

“Very pleased with the sheets - nice size and an attractive colour. Just a bit disappointed after they were advertised as being packed in cotton bags made with offcuts - that these bags were then packed in an outer of plastic. No plastic would be ideal, but if the plastic *is* felt necessary, the cotton bag seems superfluous.”

Hi Kate. Thank you for your review, we're very happy to hear that you're so pleased with our sheets! Just a note on the plastic… As you’ve read, the off-cuts from production are usually just thrown away, so to minimise as much waste as possible we turn these into something useful — lovely reusable drawstring bags. You can use them over and over again, to store things in at home or when you’re on the move. At present, we must use recycled plastic that is 100% recyclable to stop our products from getting damaged on their journey to you. However, we’d also love to not use these, so we are working very hard on making bags that are fully biodegradable.
