“This bag is a replacement and upgrade for my old Western Mountaineering Ultralite. These bags are top notch. With the silky soft to the touch inner fabric, a clever zip guard (the zip never catches on the fabric) and high quality down used in the baffles, this is a bag that inspires confidence. This bag should cope easily with full-on winter conditions in the UK and is adaptable enough to be taken to bigger mountains in demanding conditions. It is not obvious from their website, but it is possible to move the down around in the continuous baffles to have either more, or less down on top of the sleeping bag. That means these sleeping bags can be used in a wider range of temperatures than most bags on the market. It is not cheap, but if you want a genuine all year round bag that will pretty much keep you warm in most situations - this is it.”
