“This is the third version of Grigri that I have owned. While it is very similar to the Grigri 2 in looks, it works with a wider range of ropes and it handles subtly better. You can pay out the rope easier, catch a fall with confidence and it gives better control for lowering the leader.”
“Smooth lowering and feels a drastic improvement off the previous model. Probably not worth upgrading unless you are in the market but definitely worth the extra cash if you are.”
