“I bought the matt black ones on a recom. from Pete after losing a bunch of screwgates over a 2 week period. Lovely lightweight screwgate ideal for setting up a belay on top of, or during a multipitch trad climb. I also use them when fixing the lower off at the top of sport routes. Think the black has been discontinued but in general this is a great biner and much lighter than the Grivel twin gates i was racking beforehand.”
