“Compared to my brass micros these alloy micros are pretty wide. If the crack is deep enough to take the extra width of the alloy micro it makes for a better placement than it's narrower brass counterpart. More nut in contact with the rock, and lets face it if your staking your life on micro placements every little helps. That said they are simply too wide for some placements, so I find a set of brass micros and this set off alloy micros complement each other well. It's not like you'll notice the extra weight of a few more micro wires on your harness.”
