“I find it helpful for my clients to have a lanyard for multi-pitch sport, for attaching to the belay anchor, and for the abseil descent. Most daisy chains are long, designed for maximum flexibility when aid climbing, so it’s good to find a slightly shorter one that I find ideal for sport climbing. This length is ideal. There are a few even shorter options out there, Grivel for instance, but these leave the belay/abseil stance cramped especially if climbing as a three or you’re sharing the stance with others.”
