“Sending someone a cream tea is a delightful way of saying Thankyou - or just saying you are thinking of them. This might just be me, but I only ever had a cream tea when I was on holiday. Absolutely everyone I know who has received one has been surprised and pleased to get it, then impressed by the quality of the product and the careful way it's delivered. In the middle of the stresses of everyday life, it says 'have a break and indulge yourself.' It's a delightful bit of whimsy; and -whisper it- you can even put the jam on first if you want. I just love it. Go on, send me one. Please.”
