“The cake was delivered on time which was great, even though the delivery driver was carrying it sideways and didn’t care, that’s a different issue with delivery.
The cake my wife really liked. The presentation was beautiful as well and it really did present itself nicely. I have give 4 out of 5 stars because the taste was not what I was expecting.
Hear me out.
The outside layers were hazelnut tasting and had that Ferraro taste but the inside did not. It tasted like a normal chocolate cake. I even took parts of it and to me, it just tasted like a chocolate cake to me and no truffle or other flavours which was sad but do not get me wrong, it’s not a bad thing just didn’t have the desired taste I was after. If you eat with the outter cream then it’s fine but it is a taller cake than normal but ultimately it’s a good cake, just a 4 out of 5 for me.”
“The cake arrived in good time & beautifully packaged & frozen as described, the. Only thing which surprised was the size of the cake, it was a bit smaller than I had anticipated, thankfully my Daughter is going away for her actual Birthday , so a big cake wasn’t needed. Lovely looking cake, as for taste no idea, I’m lactose & gluten intolerant & my Daughter took her cake home . Yes again I’d say it’s a lovely looking cake, but a bit smaller than I expected!”
