“My package was delivered to nearby tech store, the delivery guy didn’t even bother to check if I’m home ( which I was, I was waiting for the package the whole day ). I only found out where the cake is hours later, as no one contacted me about my parcel and picture proof of where it was left was extremely blurry and it wasn’t showing anything. When I finally got the package after few hours, the box was soggy from ice packets and one side of the cake was smushed, in result the cake was not round, cause one side was straight from being smushed on the side. It was slightly melty too. I couldn’t save the straight side, but I’ve put the cake to the freezer for 30 minutes before serving at the party, but it did make me feel bad that it’s slightly damaged. Contacted DHL about how my delivery was handled, but they didn’t care at all and said they could deliver my package anywhere as long as it was safe, cause that’s the option the company have chosen. It was a picked day delivery, so it was like £12 just for the delivery. It was second year I ordered the cake from desserts delivered, cause I like their cakes. I’m just very unhappy with the delivery this time.”
