“My rating is based on the fact that we can no longer choose our own sample. As a result, I keep receiving samples of products I do not need and would not be interested in using. This means they are thrown out, which is a waste. I love dermalogica products, and would like to be able to choose samples of products I will actually enjoy using. My skin is quite sensitive so I avoid using exfoliators, so this sample was useless for me.”

Please do consider passing unwanted samples on to either your friends or even donating them. Those with sensitive skin will indeed avoid exfoliators but Daily Microfoliant and Daily Milkfoliant are suitable for sensitive skin. The powder contents should be mixed with plenty of water to resemble a foamy consistency before application. Samples are a great way to test for skin compatibility and if you are nervous about using them on your face, try applying the product to your neck or chest area to test for compatibility.
Thank you for your feedback. It's a shame that your skin hasn't taken to this exfoliator as many individuals with sensitivities do find their skin reacts well to this. You could consider the Daily Milkfoliant which is formulated specifically for sensitive skin. However, you are correct, it may be that your skin just does not tolerate exfoliation, this is not unusual when the skin is very sensitive.

I always end up buying the travel size bottles, as the large is expensive. 2 of us use it daily and it lasts about a month.”
